II. Roche Diagnostics Belgium | Market Access & Policy Lead
When I joined Roche Diagnostics Belgium, there was no structured access or policy function in place. I was brought in to build both from scratch—laying the foundation for a strategy that would ensure innovative diagnostics reached patients faster and more equitably.
Over time, we delivered tangible success stories in both reimbursement and public affairs, gaining visibility with key stakeholders and strengthening Roche’s reputation as a trusted partner in healthcare. I grew and led a team of junior Market Access specialists, and together we designed and submitted reimbursement files, always rooted in a deep understanding of Belgium’s complex political and healthcare environment.
As the external liaison for payers, sick funds, policymakers, and health authorities, I became a recognised voice in shaping diagnostics access policy nationally.
At the international level, I represented the Subregion Northwest Countries in establishing a Governmental Affairs & Access Knowledge Hub, and led the development of a global policy agenda and training program for over 150 countries across EMEA and LATAM.
